Timeframe
Round 1 will end on August 31, 2010 or sooner if all games are completed. The
default scenario will be 6F, Scenario 5, the 3-day Battle of Gettysburg, using
all optional rules except 10D, Extra Union Generals. Of course, players may use
any other scenario by mutual agreement. To determine sides, the lower seeded player
expresses his or her side preference. The higher seeded player either accepts
the other side or bids for the same side. The bid then passes back and forth until
one player accepts. Once you have determined the sides, please let me know who
has which side and what the bid is, if any.
It’s not too late to get in on the action! New entrants are welcome at
any time; simply e-mail me to let me know. If you’re too busy at the moment,
you may also sign up now for Round 2.
I would encourage all participants to review the complete format, which is
attached. Rules clarifications and terrain clarifications were previously provided,
but if you are missing them I can re-send.
If you have any questions, please contact me. As always, if you wish to be
removed from this e-mail list, please let me know. Good luck to everyone.
Sincerely,
Vince Meconi (GM)
